Without moisture, the felting trigger is absent. The garment is cleaned effectively without disturbing the wool's scale structure.

Wool coats processed professionally are also carefully hand-shaped while damp (if steam is used for finishing) and pressed with equipment that applies controlled heat without distorting seams or lapels.

The Cost of Getting It Wrong Once
